Our Family Story
A Family Bakery, Built on Tradition
Olivier’s story began in 2002, when Olivier opened a small boulangerie in Perpignan in the south of France. For years, Olivier and Valerie built their family life around the bakery, with their four children growing up alongside the business.
Today, that tradition continues in British Columbia. Olivier’s remains a family-run bakery, bringing the same respect for traditional French baking to our cafés and retail partners across the province.

Every Olivier’s loaf begins with simple ingredients and a process we’ve spent years refining.
Our breads are naturally fermented for 24 hours, using traditional techniques and our 18-year-old sourdough starter, Jerome, to develop flavour, texture and character.
From mixing and shaping to baking, slicing and quality checks, every stage is carefully controlled so we can deliver the quality and consistency our retail partners depend on.
